Numbers in lessons are teaching examples, not historical quotes or forecasts. They are selected to make formulas readable. Do not copy an example into an order ticket without checking the current instrument, unit, currency and venue rules.
Calculator methodology
The crypto profit tool estimates gross price difference multiplied by quantity and subtracts a simple percentage fee estimate. The position-size tool divides cash risk by entry-to-stop distance. The multi-purchase DCA tool calculates a weighted average. The pip tool scales a user-entered pip value by pips and lots. The compound tool models monthly contributions under a constant assumed monthly rate.
The risk-reward tool compares entry-to-stop and entry-to-target distances and derives a theoretical break-even win rate. The forex margin tool divides converted notional exposure by leverage. The crypto market-cap tool applies price to circulating and maximum supply and shows a fixed-supply price scenario. All tools are simplified educational models and do not include every tax, funding, settlement, spread, slippage, contract or currency-conversion rule.
Practice simulator
The paper trading simulator uses a small fixed list of sample instruments and prices embedded in the site’s client-side script. It has no exchange connection and no promise that a displayed value is current. A production version can add a public data source only after documenting rate limits, attribution, caching, failure states and update time.
Review standard
When a page adds time-sensitive information, the source and review date should be visible. Readers should verify live prices, regulations, fees and contract specifications with the relevant official provider before making a decision.
